When trying to reach difficult respondents, think about the range of ways they can be reached e.g. online, via mobile phone, or via flyers at an event. Consider using a mixed mode methodology to get good results.

Bespoke Projects

We seek to offer a flexible approach where we will happily consider bespoke technology development, or new uses of a panel, or whatever is required to make our end clients feel they are being really well served.

Some examples of these “bespoke” projects include:

Setting up a micro-site to recruit ‘heavy’ gamers to a specific panel. We then delivered games to these panellists using WAP, and subsequently surveyed these people for their views.

Itemised mobile bill harvesting (respondents sent in their bills to Research Now for the client to analyse), before and after a client’s trial event.

Used SMS ‘text and win’ mechanism on a client’s sponsored club nights to collect mobile numbers of attendees. Followed up next day with SMS appealing to people to ‘tell us what they thought’ of the club night, with a trip to Ibiza as the incentive. This proved to be a unique way of engaging event attendees and successfully measuring the impact of sponsorship advertising.
